Principal's Message 2021/2022
Welcome to the 2021/2022 school year! Our entire staff at F.P. Walshe is grateful for the opportunity to connect with all of our stakeholders and provide exceptional learning opportunities for all our students.
While our world continues to change around us, I am excited once again for the opportunity to work with the entire school community here at F.P. Walshe. Health and safety remains a top priority of our school community, and we are continuing to follow the direction and guidelines provided to us from Alberta Health Services (AHS), Alberta Education, and Livingstone Range School Division (LRSD) as we respond to the fluidity of the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to do our best to mitigate risk and provide a safe learning environment for all.
Our school community this year will be focused on the following vision/mission/motto statements: Vision: A place to learn and belong Mission: Empower personal growth through meaningful relationships Motto: We Are Walshe. These three statements speak to our core values and beliefs at F.P. Walshe and we will collaboratively be focused on enhancing our school culture through building connection and positive relationships.
As a school we are striving to have everyone who walks through our doors feel a strong sense of belonging. To achieve this, we are focused on providing our students with outstanding academic, athletic, arts, and extra-curricular opportunities throughout the year. In addition, our strong student leadership group continues to support the work we are doing around inclusivity and living our motto of: We Are Walshe!
To stay up to date on what is happening in the school, you can follow us on Facebook and Instragram: @fpwalshe or on Twitter: @fp_walshe.
Our entire team appreciates all the support and as always if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact one of us at the school. We look forward to a great year of learning!
